WILLIAMSTON – Betty Ann Davenport Mahaffey, 76, wife of Don Randolph Mahaffey, of 45 Durham Drive, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Riverside Living Center in Piedmont. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Perry and Bessie Coker Davenport. She retired from Mount Vernon and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by brothers, Fred Davenport and Charles Davenport, both of Williamston; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Big Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Gambrell and the Rev. Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O.
