JOSEPH J. of Gladwyne, a widely admired and highly respected Philadelphia attorney, died Friday at the age of 73. Mr. Connolly was a partner at Stevens and Lee, he also served as general counsel to the companies of the PFM Group. He is the husband of Patricia Quinn Connolly, father of Edward (Sara), Joseph (Holly) and the late James. Also survived by his grandchildren: Charlie, Jack, and Lucy and his first wife, Joy Price Barrows. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 1723 Race St., Phila. Int Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Justice for Vets, 1029 North Royal St, Suite 201, Alexandria, VA 22314 or to William Penn Charter School Rowing Program, attn: Jack Rogers, 3000 W.
