John William Hamm* of Duncansville, who died at 9:15 Saturday evening at the county home, was born in Morrisons Cove Feb. 17, 1868.

He is survivied by his wife, Nancy Ellen, and the following children: Margaret B., Mary M., Alma M., Thelma L., Franklin C., William E., James C. and one adopted son , Harry and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Thomas Long of Minersville, Mrs. Sarah Kelly of Bakers Mines, George W. of Tunnell Hill and Wilson D., Mrs. Frank Piper, Mrs. Lloyd Everhart, and his mother Mrs. Mary A. Hamm, all of Cross Keys.

He was a member of the P. R. R. Relief and also the Church of the Brethren of Carson Valley.

The funeral services took place on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the Carson Valley Cemetery.
