Louis Dezeler m. to Mariah Farnsworth in Concord, Dodge Co. 1862. Civil war veteran's headstone was ordered with a death date of 27 July 1885, but this date has not been verified. That stone is missing, probably lost or destroyed when moved to the "new" Calvary in 1890. He was a private in the Co. K, 2nd Minnesota cavalry and participated in Gen. Sully's campaign against the Lakota. Father of twins Edwin Joseph and Edward B., Emmet, and Laura Eleonora.
