Gretna……….Aeriel Elizabeth Merkley of Gretna died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Born April 26, 2013 in Lynchburg she was a daughter of Kevin Ray Maddox and Tarra Merkley Cox of Gretna. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Eddie Merkley and her Uncle Allen Merkley. In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Devin Chism and Chandler Cox; two sisters, Lydia Cox and Jayla Cox; maternal grandparents, Billy and Cindy Carter; paternal grandmother, Karen Neal; maternal great-grandparents, Zelphia Carter and Betty Collins; and an aunt, Alisha Pyles and her husband, Nathan. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Round Pond Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Tim Kyser. Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is assisting the family.
