Thursday, Feb. 20, 1896, at nine o'clock in the evening, a cloud passed over the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dixon and sadly bereaved their home of a bright prospect in the death of their infant son, Thomas Lee, aged one year and twenty-three days. The child was laid to rest on Saturday, the 22d, when there was a large crowd assembled to show their sympathy for parents and friends, and to pay a last tribute to a beautiful, loving child. Rev. Gearheart of the Methodist church had charge of the services. (Piney Twp. Item)
