Edith McCuan, 86, of 1062 Broadway, Benton Harbor, Mich., died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor.
Visitation at the Cotter Funeral Home, Momence, will be from 11 a.m. Friday until the services at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dennis Settles will officiate.
The daughter of Kaiser and Emma Ward, she was born July 18, 1897.
For a number of years, Mrs. McCuan was employed in Momence as a telephone operator. After moving to Benton Harbor, she was an inspector at New Products, Inc. for 23 years.
Her first husband, Raymond Besch, died July 15, 1935. Her second husband, Barney McCuan died Oct. 3, 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Ruesky of St. Joseph, Mich.; a son Bernard Besch of Homossassa, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one brother, Elliot Ward of Kankakee.
Mrs. McCuan was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary both in Benton Harbor.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Momence.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
