Frances A. Williamson, age 91 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 25, 2015 in the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Reverend David Fisher, Reverend Tony Dixon and Reverend Tommy Baker will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in the Stubbs Cemetery.

Mrs. Williamson was born on March 10, 1924 in Abbeville. She was daughter of the late Lon Baxter Addison and Grace Victoria Robertson. She was a homemaker and cattle farmer. She was a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church and the Euzelian Sunday School Class and former member of the WMU. She was a former Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher and was a member of the Wilcox County Farm Bureau. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Williamson, a son-in-law-Glenn Dorsey, a brother-E. C. “Boo” Addison and a sister-Onie Fisher.

Survivors include: daughters, granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Sunday, May 24th in the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Abbeville First Baptist Church, C/O Julia Davis, P. O. Box 385, Abbeville, Ga. 31001 or to the donor’s choice.

The family may be contacted at the Williamson residence, 9896 Owensboro Rd., Abbeville, Ga.
