POINT PLACE, OHIO -- Angelin Nola Rookstool, 77, formerly of Ansley, Nebraska, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at her home in Point Place, Ohio, after battling cancer.

Nola was born Dec. 20, 1924, to Thomas Benton and Nettie Maude (Cox) Grim in Dutchman Valley, Neb. She graduated from Westerville High School in 1943.

She married Karl Bailey in 1943. She later married Louie Sorensen. She married Lester Guy "Grandpa" Rookstool on April 30, 1973, in Ansley.

She enjoyed her family and was an avid bird watcher. She also enjoyed traveling through the United States and Husker football.

Survivors include six daughters and son-in-laws, Cheryl and Phil Smith of Broken Bow, Jacki and John Clark of Point Place, Joy and Jerry Fuller of Broken Bow, Angela and Lynn Thomas of McCook, Darlene and Gregg Goddard of Omaha and Naomi and Pat McCurdy of Elwood; four sons and daughter-in-laws, Neil and Vi Bailey of Phoenix, Tom and Irene Bailey of Berwyn, Nels and d'Aun Sorensen of Fairbury and
Donnie and Anna Rookstool of Polk; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one brother, Avalo R. Grim of Broken Bow; and one sister, Dollie Garris of Sargent.

Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Iverson Memorial Chapel in Broken Bow. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
