The Tribune - San Luis Obispo - 23 Mar 1872. In San Luis Obispo, March 17th, A. D., 1872, of consumption, Miss Ramona Tomas Pico, daughter of Don Jose Jesus Pico, aged 28 years.
This young lady was well known and appreciated in the community for her many good qualities. She was of a most amialbe [sic] character, unexceptionable conduct, and refined manners. She leaves a gap in the interesting family of which she was a member, which will never be filled; and her untimely demise in the freshness of youth, with her life yet unfullfiled [sic], leaves behind it upon all who knew here a sadness which Time only can heal.
There is no record of her burial in the cemetery or a marker, she might have been buried in or near the Mission at one time. She is placed here with her family.
Some have her birth as 11 Dec 1844 and death taken from Catholic records at the Mission.
