MRS. MOSTELLER DEAD

Mrs. Sarah Mosteller of South Main street, Wilkes-Barre, passed to her reward yesterday after a lingering illness of general debility at the advanced age of 83 years. Mrs. Mosteller is survived by the following children: Mrs. Lilley, wife of Rev. W. H. Lilley, pastor of the Evangelical Church, York, Pa.; Mrs. I. W. Hagenarch, Liverpool, this State; Mrs. N. B. Harman and Mrs. J. L. Balliet of Williamsport; Boyd W. Mosteller and Mrs. Fred Renard, both of South Main street, Wilkes-Barre. Deceased was a lady possessing sterling qualities of character, and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Renard, 53 South Main street, from which place the funeral will be held and services conducted on Wednesday afternoon, beginning at 1:30 o'clock. Interment in the Forty Fort Cemetery.

Funeral of Mrs. Mosteller

The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah Mosteller was held from the home of Mrs. Fred Rennerd, 53 South Main street, yesterday. Interment was at Fort Fort Cemetery, a special car being used for the occasion. Rev. W. H. Lilley of York, Pa., a son-in-law of the deceased, by request of the deceased, officiated, and was assisted by Rev. O. L. Knipp of Christian Church and Rev. J. H. Griffith of St. Peter's Church, Plymouth. The floral tributes were many and very beautiful. The singing by a quartet consisting of Mrs. Frank L. McKee, Miss Amanda Rennerd, D. T. Davis and George S. Rennerd rendered "Lead Kindly Light" and Nearer My God to Thee."

The floral bearers were Arthur Case, Joseph Conner, Harry Kisner, Walter Rennerd and A. O. Dunlap. The pall bearers, who are grandsons, were J. C. Lilley, Charles Miller, J. P. Lilley, Harry Mosteller, Edward Mosteller, Fred Mosteller and John Mosteller.

The immediate family of the deceased who were in attendance at the funeral were I. W. Hagenbuch and wife, Fred Rennerd and wife, Edward Mosteller and wife, Fred Mosteller, Harry Mosteller and B. W. Mosteller and family of Wilkes-Barre, Rev. W. H. Lilley and wife of York, Pa., Mrs. N. B. Harman and Mrs. J. L. Baliett of Williamsport, W. H. Holman and wife of Liverpool, Pa., also a large circle of friends.

Deceased was 83 years, 2 months and 2 days old. She was the mother of fifteen children, seven of whom are living, twenty-one grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
