The Marion native formerly lived in Fort Wayne, was a veteran of World War II and retired in 1983 from International Harvester Co. after 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta; daughters, Deanna Stepp of Fort Wayne and Jacqueline Barnes of Naperville; sisters, Dorotha Anderson, Mary Simpson and Gloria S. Butts, all of Fort Wayne, Shirley Waltenberger of Albion and Betty L. Sands of Boca Raton, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. tomorrow in C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
