Charles Hardin Haggard, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired employee of Dyersburg Funeral Home and a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Charles was a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church and was a retired Army Veteran of WWII.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Danny O'Guin and Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Family members and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Charlotte H. Hill of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, James F. McCallen IV of Eglin Air Force Base, FL and Ashley McCallen Bell of Waukesha, WI; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Kay Haggard; his parents, Hardin and Minnie Austin Haggard; and two sisters, Ella Marie Haggard and Nell Shemwell.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Bell, James F. McCallen IV, Olen Funderburk, Lloyd Collier, Jim Davis, Al Wade, Lynn Parker and Lowell Beck.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Brooks, Brad Ing, Junior Binkley, Tom Kesterson, Employees of Dyersburg Funeral Home and Retired Letter Carriers.
