Ernest E. Anderson, age 74 of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Gertie Anderson, and five brothers and sisters: Odell, Ina, Estell, Idell and Lindell. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Harriet. Three children also survive him: David Anderson of Dayton, James (Susan) Anderson of Springboro and Lisa Atkins of Springboro. He is survived by thirteen grandchildren: Samantha Staub, Rachael Anderson, Dillon Anderson, Jami Green, Sean Anderson, Bethany Anderson, Erin Atkins, Hayley Atkins, Cassidy Atkins, Christopher Atkins, Kyle Atkins, Sarah Stamps and Brian Stamps. Eight great grandchildren also survive him, as do seven brothers and sisters: Wenil, Wanda, Izell, James, Paul, Olen and Jearl Dean, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the time of the funeral on Friday. Interment will be in David Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the in Ernest's memory.
