Mrs. Susan Josephine Biser, 71, widow of the late Charles Biser, died Tuesday, May 27, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Silas Murphy, of the New Hope section, following a long illness of cancer of the face.
She was a daughter of the late Simon and Sarah Ann Harden and had lived all of her life in Morgan county.
Surviving besides her daughter are three brothers, James B. Harden, Berkeley Springs; Charles E. Harden, Hancock, Md., and Melvin Harden, of Great Cacapon; two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Fredman and Miss Mary Harden, Berkeley Springs.
Funeral services were conducted at Highland Thursday morning by the Revs. Ira B. Watson, of the Presbyterian Church and C. A. Moon of the Evangelical U. B. Church. Burial was at Highland.
