Connie "Mammaw" was preceded in death by her husband, Radford D. Yancey; a daughter, Mary Yvonne Spitzer; and a grandson, Jess Edward Sager.
She is survived by a daughter, Dolly Flemming and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Connie Y. Sager-Richardson and Joe and Doug Fleming; and four great-grandchildren.
Connie worked at RMH and JMU for many years. She was always known to be fun-loving and was a talented artist. Her dogs brought her much joy, and they were certainly loved by her in return.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Connie to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, 1800 S. Delphine Ave., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
