Imogene Faye Bragg 75 of Sod WV went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2015 after a long illness.

Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace as she recited the 23 Psalm with her family at her side.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Teddy L Bragg Jr.

Faye was born to the late Tony and Rosa Lipscomb on January 16, 1940. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She graduated from Duval High School in 1958. She led a blessed life with her loving husband Teddy Bragg of 53 years who cared for her tirelessly through her illness.

She was blessed with 2 children: Teresa Hicks and Bradley Bragg; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and Jody Pauley whom she loved like her own.

From the very beginning, she committed her efforts to raise her children to love and worship God and strongly encouraged them to attend church. She demonstrated her faith and love for church as a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and achieved 20 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School.

She was a 50 year Charter member of the Eastern Star St. Albans Chapter No. 79. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at home with her Heavenly Father.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dreama and Mike Pauley and Cousin Jean Pauley for their love and devotion for Faye.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday, May 19 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastors Homer Hensley and Jody Pauley officiating. Burial will follow at Lively Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Monday, May 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
