Robustelli, Albert G. of Marstons Mills, MA formerly of Darien and Stamford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2015 at the age of 91.

Devoted husband of Rita H. (Benvenuto) Robustelli for almost 67 years. Loving father of Jean K. Bowden and her husband John Bowden and Christine R. Covell and her companion Bill Lewis. Cherished grandfather of Justin Gustavsson, Laura Campbell, Abigail Bowden and Michelle Covell and her spouse Allison Hurley and great grandfather of Dylan Covell, Owen Covell and Freeman Campbell. He is also survived by his brother Armand "Bert" Robustelli of CT.

He served in the Army during WW II as a Medic. He was employed by American Cyanamid Company until his retirement, where his work as a chemical engineer and research scientist earned him six patents during his career, most notably the first chemiluminescent product marketed as light sticks under the name Cyalume.

He was also a great handyman and mechanic, teaching himself to fix almost anything, including the many different types of cars he owned over the years. He was an avid golfer, loved crossword puzzles, playing cards and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a loving and gentle man with a great sense of humor, and will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
