HANNIBAL - Louise Willett Schwabe, 91, of Hannibal, died at 6:48 a.m. Dec. 9, 1998, at Hannibal Regional Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Schwabe will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Margie McDaniel Woods will officiate. Mrs. Schwabe was born March 13, 1907, in Hannibal to Francis and Jessie McClintick Willett. Her mother was later Jessie Duesdieker. She was married to Karl F. Schwabe on Jan. 23, 1926 in Hannibal. He preceded her in death June 24, 1974. Survivors include one son, Karl F. Schwabe II of Naperville, Ill.; two grandsons, Kirk Schwabe of Naperville and Kip Schwabe of Arlington, Va.; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Treece, of Flippin, Ark. Mrs. Schwabe was a lifelong member of the Methodist church and had formerly been a Sunday School teacher. There will be no visitation. Smith Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
