Ms. “Luke,” as she was known by family and close friends, was a devoted wife of 64 years and loving Mother. She was passionate about cooking, gardening, sewing and quilting. But most importantly Her calling from God was to be a Prayer Warrior. She served God and her church faithfully. The family has peace knowing Mother will be with Jesus.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, two daughters, two sisters, seven grand children, thirteen great grand children; six great great grandchild, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Garden Park with special thanks to Dr. David Colvin, Stacy Durr and Laura Campbell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blanchard Nazarene Church 251 North Main Street, Blanchard, Louisiana 71009 and Fellowship Chapel, P.O.Box 1067, Ball, Louisiana 71405.
Your word is a “Lamp to my feet and a light to my path.“ Psalm 119:105.
