Conesville Man Taken by Death ----------- D. C. McKee Dies Friday Afternoon After a Short Illness ---------- Conesville --- D. C. McKee died Friday afternoon at 2:15 at the home of his sister,
MRS ALLEN McCURDY, after a brief illness.
Daniel Chalmers McKee, son of Daniel and Mary Jane McKee, was born March 5, 1864 in Coshocton county, O.
He came to Iowa when a young man.
On March 5, 1891 he was married to ELMA CECIL.
Two children were born to them,
LLOYD, who lives in Dallas, Tex., and
ALMEDA Wife of Gilman LARSON of Davenport.
He is also survived by five grandchildren,
two brothers, W. L. McKee, Okmulgee, Okla.,
and L. A. McKee, Ironton, Mo.,
and by two sisters,
Mrs. Allen McCurdy and
Mrs. GEORGE McVEY.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the McCurdy home with burial in Brockway cemetery.----
