He was born in Cape May Court House to the late Clifford and Edith Garrettson Spalding, Sr. He enjoyed collecting toys and trains. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he worked as a mason with his brother George as well as other employers.
Mr. Spalding is survived by his wife of 47 years, his daughter of Villas, NJ; his brother of Petersburg, NJ; his 2 granddaughters,his great grandson, and his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
