Minnie Myrtle Mccane was born Minnie Myrtle Park in 1877. She was the daughter of Joseph E. Park and Eliza J. King. She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Minnie married Norman Lemoin Cothern on June 26, 1898. They had 5 daughters: Dorothy, Norma, Grace, Beryl, and Ruby; and 1 son who died in infancy. After their divorce, Minnie married William Clinton McCane and they had 4 children: Clifford, Midgetta, Bianca and Pearl. Minnie passed away in the home of her sister Mary Mullenex at the age of 49. She had uterine cancer. Her husband William passed away a year later.
