Funeral services celebrating the life of Allen L. Lincecum were held Saturday, May 16, 2015, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, Reverend Bruce Maxwell officiated. Burial followed in the Big Creek Cemetery, Pollock.

Mr. Lincecum, 86, of Pollock, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Allen proudly served his country in the United States Navy and during his working life was a Locomotive Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years. He was a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria for 21 years and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lincecum; a grandson, Clint Kirkland; parents, Dan and Noda Nugent Lincecum; brother, Dan Lincecum, Jr. and a sister, Faye Quaid.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; son and wife; three daughters and two sons-in-law; two step daughters; brother and sister-in-law; two sisters; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.

The family has designated Big Creek Cemetery Association, P O Box 271, Dry Prong, LA 71423, for memorial contributions.
