Elmer Edward Fisher age 81, of Huntsville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home. He was born January 5, 1934 in Indiana, to the late Rev. David E. Fisher, Sr. and Blanche Marie Horn Fisher. Elmer was a U.S. Army and U. S. Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Hutson Fisher; Brothers: David Fisher, Jr., Paul Fisher, Harry Fisher, Erwin Fisher, Steve Fisher, Lawrence Fisher and John Fisher; Sisters: June Fisher, Grace Fisher and Ruth Butcher; Son-in-law: Mike Lee.
He is survived by his Children: Rose Carmichael, Darrin Fisher and wife Ellen, Elmer Fisher and wife Sheila and Ruth Lee; (7) Grandchildren: Jessica Broyles, Kevin Fisher, Kenneth Fisher, Robby Burnette, Chris Lee, Bobby Lee, William Carmichael, Monica Fisher and Zachary Fisher; (2) Great Grandchildren: Gavin Broyles and Rowyn Lee; Sister: Mary Branstetter and husband Larry; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Kevin Byrd Officiating. Music will be provided by The Antioch Singers. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday Morning, May 19, 2015 at the Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #136.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Fisher, Kenneth Fisher, Zachary Fisher, Richie Fisher, Chris Lee and Cameron Broyles.
