Samuel Canady
Passed Away, Lang-
dale Sat. Morning
On Saturday morning, Oct. 26, 1929, the death angel visited our city and took away the spirit of one of our esteemed citizens, Mr. Samuel W. Canady.
He was borned in Randolph county, Ala., in 1855. He moved to Langdale in 1906, and resided here until the day of his death.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Langdale church being conducted by Rev. Milligan Earnest, assisted by Rev. C. W. Seale.
Mr. Canady was a member of the Christian church. He was a good, quiet, honest citzen, a kind husband and father. He is survived by his wife and five children as follows: Mrs. Jean Hill, of Roanoke, Ala., Mrs. Belton Adcock, of Langdale; Mrs. J. C. Magee, Miss Alvis Canady and Mr. Port Canady, of this city.
