Gus loved to travel and attend Scoops and Scriptures, but most of all, she loved her family. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include her husband, Norbert; her great-grandson, Brenden Desmond; and her parents; a sister; and two brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three children, Sandra Mullins (Gary), Connie Ohlemacher (Charlie), and Norbert Matte (Mary); her niece, Mary Louise Mattingly; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass to celebrate Gus's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, 1020 E. Burnett Ave. with interment to follow at Saint Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday.
