Mrs. Burns was a native of Higginsville, Mo., and lived in Tuolumne City 59 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She enjoyed photos, arts and crafts, and genealogy.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Burns of Tuolumne City; her children, Gary Burns of Tuolumne and Marcella Cox of Yuba City; brother, Glen Howe of Tuolumne City; and three grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Heuton Memorial Chapel, Sonora, with burial to follow at Carter's Cemetery, Tuolumne City.
