Alta Bell Holden Curtis, age 85,
passed away at the home of her son, on Saturday, September 28, 2002.
She was born on May 13, 1917 in Alta, Wyoming to Edgar Peter Holden and Vera Leona Greene.
She married Levar Peter Curtis on November 23, 1946 in Driggs, Idaho.
She was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a devote member and officer of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She was a much loved mother, grandma, aunt, and sister, she will be missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by: her son, Vardell H (Cindy) Curtis, St. George, Utah,her daughter, Della Alta Johnson, Idaho Falls, Idaho,
4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and 1 great-grandson, her youngest brother Hal Holden, sisters-in-law Dorothy Holden and Bernice Curtis, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Alta was preceded in death by her husband Levar, her father and mother, brothers: Dean (Alice), Addison (Zola)and Martell Holden, niece Tammy, and nephews Lyle, Clint and Steve Holden.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2002, at 11:00 am. Friends and family may call or visit from 10-11am at the Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, Rexburg, Idaho. Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Idaho Cemetery.
