Son of John Madison and Julia Ann Richardson Jackson. Husband of Frances Richardson Jackson (his 1st cousin). David was a mill operator at Mayo Mills in Mayodan. A fall on ice , and an injury to his neck earlier in the year contributed to his death, along with pneumonia that later deveolped. (Note: His father, John Madison Jackson died in the Civil War at Pt. Lookout, Md., and is buried there). His wife Frances, and son Willie are buried at the James Cemetery on Ralph Joyce Rd. in Stokes Co.)
