Daniel H. Pryor, 83, of State Route 5,
died on March 11, 2003 at the Martin Luther Nursing Home.
He was born on May 31, 1919 in Westmoreland,
to Daniel H. Sr. and Marcella Quinn Pryor.
He attended the Clinton Schools.
On June 14, 1940, in New Hartford, he married Elizabeth Melioris.
The couple always lived on Route 5.
He served in the Persian Gulf with the US Army during WWII.
He retired from Mohawk Valley Community College in 1990.
He was a life member of the Clinton Post #9591 VFW.
Besides his wife,
other survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Adliza and Alfred Walker of Verona;
grandchildren, Cindy Deep and her husband, Bob, Patrick Walker, and Susan Wurzer;
six great-grandsons;
a sister, Evelyn Petrie of Clinton;
and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Margaret Dressel, and brothers, John and James Pryor died before him.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 14 in St. Mary's Church with spring burial in the parish cemetery.
