Harold Warren Bennett, age 78, passed away May 9, 2015 in El Reno, OK. He was born February 20, 1937 in Yukon, OK to William and Marie Bennett. He graduated from Mustang High School in 1956.

Harold worked on the Friscoe rail line, farmed and did cabinetry before starting a 33 year career with Western Electric/Lucent Technologies as an electronic tester. He retired in 1999. Harold enjoyed being outside, animals and staying busy.

Harold married Carletta Vandiver on April 14, 1972 in Mustang, OK.

He is preceded in death by parents and a brother, Freddie.

He is survived by his wife, Carletta of the home; a sister, Rose Mary Griggs of OKC; sons, Freddie Bennett of Mustang, Tony Bennett of Tulsa, William and Belinda Bennett of Mustang and Brent Bennett of Yukon. Also by four grandchildren; Payton Bennett Mailand, Parker Bennett, Maranda Bennett and Cordney Bennett.

Funeral services: Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at McNeil’s Funeral Services, Mustang, OK. with graveside services at Red Hill Cemetery, Mustang, OK.
