RITES TO BE HELD FOR ERVIN LANGSTON

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9 at 2 pm in the Salem Baptist Church for Ervin J. Langston; Rev Stanley Cooper of Salem will officiate.

Mr Langston was born at Wiseman, Arkansas and died in Tulsa, Oklahoma, October 7. He is survived by his wife, Leola Felts Langston of Tulsa and two sons, Duane and Gale of Tulsa and two daughters, Peggy and Joy also of Tulsa. His mother, Minnie J. Clanton, eight brothers, Lindsey and Carl of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Arch of Heart, Ar, Owen of Glencoe, Ernest and Jessee of Salem, Wesley of Tulsa, and Ray of Lawry, South Dakota. One sister, Mrs Faye Giles of Granite City, Indiana; eight grandchilren and a host of friends and loved ones.

Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery under the Direction of Carter Funeral Home. The body will lie in state in the Carter Chapel from Thursday evening until time for the services.
