Mrs. Sarah M. Michael
Mrs. Sarah Melvina Michael, a lifelong resident of Volant, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Graham of Harlansburg road, Feb. 9 at 8:50 o'clock, after a lingering illness with complications of diseases. She was born in Washington Township, January 8, 1852, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey Carlon. Surviving are the following children: John Michael, Mahoningtown; Mrs. James Black, Volant; Mrs. Will Graham, New Castle; Lee Michael, East Brook; Mrs. Mout Weatherby, Edenburg; Kinsey Michael, Volant; Mrs. Robert Hutcheson, Poland, O.; Orin Michael, New Castle; Arthur Michael, New Castle. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. B. McKnight of Volant; Mrs. Emma Skiff of Wisconsin; Mrs. Emma Dodge, California; William Carlon of California; and Mrs. Vina's Arnold of California. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Hilliard in charge and interment will be made in the Harlansburg Cemetery.

Michael Funeral
Funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Michael were held Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Hilliard of Volant and Rev. Randells of Harlansburg in charge. Interment was made in Harlansburg Cemetery. Pall bearers were Kinsey McKnight, John Michael, Arthur Michael, Everett Young, and Orin Michael.
