This William is probably not the son of Oliver and Anna (Williams) Partridge. Their son William is buried in Hatfield; he died 5 Aug 1755, age 15 mos 9 days. [Message from another Find a Grave member]

Suggested edit: According to my records, William's parents Oliver Partridge and Anna Williams had 2 sons they named William: the first who died 30 Aug 1735 at 15 days old and then this one, the second William (my direct ancestor), born 30 Apr 1753 in Hatfield, MA and died 28 Oct 1836 in Pittsfield, MA. The note that this may not be Oliver and Anna's son caught my attention. Not sure what the kernel of truth is in there but all my records indicate this grave marker is indeed for Oliver and Anna's son William. Would appreciate any further information you have on this, thanks.
