Lyndal S. Pleas, age 75, passed from this life Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home. She was born in Bainbridge, GA on September 15, 1939 to Emmit and Louis (Lynn) Sheffield. Lyndal worked as a loan officer most of her life and has lived here for the past 25 years coming from Panama City, FL. She was a member of the Garden Club of Chipley, Habitat for Humanity of Chipley, Red Hate Society and the Orange Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Pleas is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands Pervis Lee and Gene Pleas, her brother Wayne Sheffield. She is survived by her two sons Stephen Rogers and wife Beth of Southport, FL and Greg Rogers and wife Linda of Southport, FL. One sister Patsy Whitfield, 4 grandchildren Jennifer Hagler and husband Jack, Josh Rogers and wife Jill, Mary Rogers and Beatrice Rogers and 3 great grandchildren Jeremy Rogers, Bristol Hagler and Jarnet Rogers. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Jerry May officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held 5 to 7PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Chapel.
