Anna Sue Maiden Chinn, 76 years old, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Ohio County Hospital. She was born February 5, 1939 to Homer Maiden and Virginia Snodgrass Maiden. She was a Christian and a member of the Hartford Church of Christ. She was a retired cook and worked at the Beaver Dam Café and was famous for her awesome homemade pies. We all called her “Granny Sue” and she was loved and adored by all of her family and she will be sadly missed by us all.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Morgan Chinn, her grandson John Everett Chinn, her brother, Jackie Ray Maiden, and her sister Kathy Jo Maiden.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianna (Charles) Simpson of Beaver Dam, her son, Terry Don Chinn of Beaver Dam and her son Johnny Dale (Angelia) Chinn of Morgantown, two brothers, Charles (Patty) Maiden of Beaver Dam and Ralph (Della) Maiden of Cromwell, four sisters, Margaret Belford of Beaver Dam, Patricia Shepherd of Dundee, Judy Goff of Hartford and Sandra (Orville) Baize of Beaver Dam. 12 grandchildren, Jason (Annie) Chinn of Beaver Dam, Christy (Jason) Murphy of Bowling Green, Kristen (Chad) Hart of Owensboro, Courtney Chinn of Lexington, Leslie (Logan) Pemberton of Bowling Green, EmmaLee Chinn, NataLee Chinn, KarLee Chinn all of Beaver Dam, Rebecca Sue Chinn of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Jessica Chinn, Heather Embry and Richard Saunders of Greenville. She had 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 P.M. Monday and 9 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
