Andrew Johnson was born in Ullvasa, Vesta, Sweden . He came to the United States in 1889 coming to Superior, Wisconsin and he worked in the shipyards. In 1901 he moved to a farm nine miles east of Barton - Pierce County - North Dakota. His father was John Olson. He died of heart and kidney disease. His children were: Ben, Frank, Annie (Mrs. Elmer Adams), Sigrid (Mrs. Christ Johnson)
