Funeral services for C. Baxter Boyer, of 138 Piedmont Avenue, who died in a local hospital at 5:10 Sunday afternoon, after a brief illness, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 3:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. F.B. Hooks, pastor of the Second Street Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Boyer had made his home in Macon for 25 years, coming from Hancock County. He had been associated with the Georgia Power Company for 18 years prior to his retirement several years ago.
