He was born in Edna, PA (don't know if it was Edna Number One or Two), the son of Felix Gust.

Ed accidentally drowned at the Ellsworth water dam.

He was married to Eva Jansante Gust. Also deceased is a son Edward Jr (who died Jul. 16, 2010) and a daughter Pauline Sphar (who died May 8, 2015).

One daughter is still living.
