Wanda M. Bennett, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. She was born to Paul M. and Lillian Seamons Nielsen on September 16, 1926 in Ogden, Utah. Wanda was a lifelong resident of Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.

She married George Dean Bennett on January 4, 1946 in Ogden, Utah. He passed away on November 25, 1983.

Wanda worked as a bookkeeper for Weber Office Supply and as a clerk at IRS for 18 years.

Most important to Wanda was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed water skiing, motorcycling, deer hunting, salmon fishing, and bowling.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, son, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Deborah; one brother, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
