Mrs. Gay D. Baughman, 87, of Pioneer, died unexpectedly Sunday morning in her home.
The daughter of David and Minerva (Archer) Krugh, she was born July 10, 1886 in Ohio.
Her memberships wre with the United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, and WSCS of the church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Eckley and Mrs. George (Madelyn) Arnold, both of Pioneer; three grandsons, Bernard Baughman, Reading, Mich., Keith and Dean Baughman, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 29 step-great-grandchildren.
she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Baughman, in 1949, and a son in 1934.
Final rites will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Thompson Funeral Home, Pioneer, with the Rev. Nelson Purdue, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial is to be in Floral Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
