Leona Cranford, age 86, of Heber Springs departed this life to be with her Lord on Friday, June 16. Leona was born to John and Lula Nored Bittle on December 15, 1919 in the Pleasant Ridge community and was a life-long resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Heber Springs.
Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Cranford; her parents; sisters, Pearl Bittle, Lucy Estes, Lola Aldridge; brothers, Loyd, Thurman, and Wendell Bittle. She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Andy Aldridge, a sister, Loreece Story, and several nieces and nephews.
