For most of his life, Bob was in business at Thomas Hog Market with his father, who operated the first hog buying station in the state of Missouri. After his father's death, Bob continued the business with his sons until it's closing. He liked sports, and attending his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's games. He enjoyed traveling and going to the walking horse show in Murfeesborough, Tennessee. He was an excellent driver, a member of the Moniteau County School Board in Tipton for eight years, and a member of the Syracuse Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by two sons, three daughters, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Cowardin. (Submitted by Find A Grave contributor Millhaven)
