12 Jul 1937: Mrs. Catherine Kohr, of 255 S. 12th St., widow of Jacob Kohr, died at 3:15 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home, of complications following a fourteen weeks illness. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She leaves to survive, the following children; Harry of Jersey City; Elmer of Avon; John and Frank of Lebanon; and Mrs. Charles Herr of Annville. Sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Sisters surviving are Mrs. Amos Snavely of Grantville and Mrs. Lizzie Blatt of Palmyra. Funeral from Rohland's on 14 July 1937, with the Rev. Elwood Schwenk of Trinity Lutheran in charge. Pallbearers her four sons, Harry, Elmer, John, and Frank Kohr. Interment in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
