Raymond William Fullerton III

The well respected appellate attorney and former Assistant General Counsel for Litigation of the United States Department of Agriculture, Raymond William Fullerton III, Esq, 87, of Frederick, Maryland, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Sally Hedstrom Fullerton. Ray was well known and loved for his wit, kindness, keen intellect, and his love for his wife and children. He was a true Renaissance man. He wrote poetry, was a teacher, athlete, pilot, musician and an award-winning painter. However, his Life was the Law. He is survived by Sally, and their children Travis Fullerton (Donna), James R. Fullerton (Dianne), Michael G. Fullerton (Kay), David J. Fullerton, Eddie October (Michael Weinberg), Lizbeth K. Hedstrom (Steven Karel), Pamela M. Hedstrom, Kirk B. Hedstrom, Kristen K. Hedstrom (Qifei), Guy K. Hedstrom, 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Grandson Michael R. Fullerton predeceased Raymond. Raymond will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium this Autumn. There will be a celebration of his life at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center, Frederick, MD, on September 18, 2015.
