On Monday, July 11, 1887, Mrs. Sarah M. Hanners passed away, at her home in Ottawa County, Kansas. Mrs. H. was born in Jackson County, Indiana, in 1859, and united with the church at the age of thirteen. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss, the youngest child being about three years old. They have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. The funeral took place July 11th, at the home of Mr. Postlewaite, about eight miles northeast of Minneapolis, conducted by Rev. A.B. Conwell.
