Borden - Mary Elizabeth Smith Hiser Bills, 86 died Monday June 21, 1993 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. She was the former Mary Smith a native of Franklin and a former employee of Southern Star Louisville Provisions.
Survivors include four sons, James Hiser of Clarksville, Glenn Hiser of Louisville, Ray Hiser of New Albany and Bernie Hiser of Las Angeles, CA; a sister Pearl Poppe of Terre Haute; four half sisters, Hazel Wampler and Judy Bose both of Sulphur Springs, Tx; Ina Mae Saylor of Salem and Renie Meyers of Henryville; three half brothers, Junior and Floyd Smith both of Cooper, Tx and Joe Smith of Seymour; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday . Visitation 4-9 pm Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Burial Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden.
