Wardney Lough Cosner, age 76, of Mount Storm, WV died Wednesday at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 28, 1938 in Mount Storm, WV and was a son of the late Aaron Bazil Cosner and Flossie Marie (Moore) Cosner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harley Cosner and Blaine Cosner and one sister, Norma Hanlin.

Mr. Cosner was an independent carpenter and a member of the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren.

He served in the United States Army.

Mr. Cosner is survived by his wife, Donna (Anthony) Cosner; three sons, Randy (Christy) Cosner of Dayton, VA, Rocky (Angie) Cosner of Mount Storm, WV, Ricky (Lynn) Cosner of Richmond, VA and Rusty (Treva) Cosner of Mount Storm, WV; three grandchildren, Aaron Cosner of Mt Crawford, VA, Joel Cosner of Harrisonburg, VA, Matthew Cosner of Dayton, VA and one step grandson, Willie Evans of KY; one great grandson, Austin Cosner of Mt Crawford, VA; one brother, Ronald Cosner of Elk Garden, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cosner’s body has been donated to the West Virginia Human Gift Registry in Morgantown, WV.

Later there will be a private inurnment in the Mount Storm Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 178, Mount Storm, WV 26739.
