Mary Ann McGann, nee Kachelhoffer, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
Mary Ann attended St. John Catholic Grade School and St. Francis Academy. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of St. Francis. A longtime Joliet resident, Mary Ann stayed in touch with many of her friends from school. She was actively involved in volunteering with the PTA at her children’s school. Mary Ann was an active parishioner of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill, serving in many ministries of the parish.
Loving mother of Patti (John) D’Ambrose, Bridget McGann, Mike (Tami) McGann, Danny McGann, David McGann and Katie (Kevin) Zihlman; dear grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of two; and sister of Audrey Kachelhoffer.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. McGann (2013); parents, John Elmer and Anna (nee Boyd) Kachelhoffer.
Visitation: Monday, May 11, 2015, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
Services: Tuesday, May 12, 2015 with a visitation at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
